Our resident website expert and tipster Dave Nevison likes two runners on Thursday. Enjoy the Goffs Thyestes Chase and Gowran’s big card plus other Wetherby action live on Racing TV.

Little Jo is used to racing well at big prizes, including with grades slightly above that, and finds himself in a race where it’s hard to find contenders with obvious potential for improvement.
After a disappointing effort two starts ago, the nine-year-old ran the course and distance pretty well last time out, and with the headgear reapplied he could do even better on Thursday.
He is 3 pounds lighter than when he was second in the course and distance just six weeks ago and a repeat of that effort will certainly see him close.
Gemma Tutty hasn’t run many runners lately, but some of her strings have run very well, and she also has a lot of entries, so she could be among the winners soon.
David Simcock has his team in great shape and Tiger Crusade enjoyed a good rating last time out in an event similar to this.
He’s only 3 pounds heavier now on the same course and distance and has a good chance of following here under the same rider, Daniel Muscutt.
He’s still on a lower note than last summer, so a repeat of his last performance might just be enough.
