fter his debut for the England Saxons against Portugal in February 2009, he went to the Churchill Cup in the United States and qualified to make his Test debut in the 2010 Six Nations after just 21 senior starts for Leicester.
He was ubiquitous in Six Nations matches over the next four seasons, and made his first World Cup appearance in 2011. His 50th cap came at the 2015 Six Nations before heading to his second World Cup in rugby.
He shared the England Grand Slam in 2016 and was ever-present in a record unbeaten run to the 2017 Six Nations final round and now has 95 caps including three in Lions colours.
