Nicky Henderson’s Bold Endeavor is the star of an excellent Tuesday card at Doncaster, with the seven-year-old improving rapidly for the Seven Barrows side.
1.50 Doncaster – Bold Endeavor aiming for another win
bold effort made a very smart stable debut for Nicky Henderson’s team and could well take the feature Sky Bet Novice Limited Handicap Chase (1:50) before moving on to bigger and better things.
The seven-year-old was hugely impressive on his arrival at Leicester and faces slightly less exposed rivals here.
Sam Thomas’ Skytastic certainly has a bit to improve on, having disappointed on its hunting debut while Famous Bridge is an intriguing runner on the fences for Nicky Richards and the late Trevor Hemmings.
3.00 Doncaster – Difficult to solve wide open handicap hurdle
If you successfully navigated the previous round, the Sky Bet Extra Seats Daily Handicap Hurdle (3:00) will require a lot of resolve, with 16 riders in a very open race.
The unexposed maclaine could well be the favorites for Oliver Sherwood’s side, having won last time out at Fontwell and having the form behind Walking On Air.
Three other last-time winners also raced, with Tommy Cullen, Ant Bridgie and Okavango Delta all chasing back-to-back successes.
7.00 Southwell – First Class Handicap with runners Haggas and Appleby
The Spreadex Sports £300 Spread Betting Cashback Handicap (7:00) has nine runners and you certainly couldn’t rule out one of them with plenty of good form on the show.
Exciting young jockey Billy Loughnane is probably the starting point, given he rides an all-time specialist Intervention for Mick Appleby’s team.
Adam Farragher takes 3 pounds off the back of Spirit Of Nguru for William Haggas, which makes a lot of appeal given the cheekbones stay put.
Watch all the races from Doncaster and Southwell, live on Sky Sports Racing on Tuesday 10th January.
