There are three meetings on Sunday with Southwell, Chepstow and Naas. Here are the stats of each track that might help you. . .

Nottinghamshire manager Roy Bowring has 17% all-time at Southwell over the past five years, and that has improved to 29% in the track’s first year on Tapeta in 2022.

Bowring saddled 11 winners, two seconds, five thirds and three quarters from 38 riders on the track last year, posting a £1 profit of +39.68.

Maite Jeans (3h30), four-time winner at Southwell, is his only runner today. She disputes the final sprint handicap and has great claims if she returns to winning form over course and distance on her penultimate start when she posted a career-best Racing Post ranking of 80. She broke an official mark of 71 this afternoon. .

Veneto Williams has a strike rate of 24% (14-57) with horses running for the first time after a wind operation since data became available in 2018.

Heva Rose (1.10) meets this criterion on his first start for 372 days in a wide-open 2m mares handicap hurdle.

The six-year-old was a promising third on her debut for Williams at a novice hurdle at Lingfield in December 2021, but was stopped on her only other start for the Herefordshire stable at Exeter just over a year ago year. It could be interesting with a reduced score of 104.

Liz Doyle has a 13% strike rate with outstanding starters, but that improves to 33% with such runners at Naas (2-6), where cappuccino (3.50) contests the final.

Jack Hendrick’s mount is likely to be a big prize with tack runners Gordon Elliott, Henry de Bromhead and Dermot Weld, but he deserves a second look given Doyle’s record and any market support should be noted.
