Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in signing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Official talks have yet to take place but the 21-year-old is on the Premier League duo’s radar following his impressive displays for Ecuador at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Brighton have no intention of parting ways with Caicedo in January and are under no pressure to sell, with the midfielder under contract at the Amex Stadium until 2025.
Caicedo started all three of Ecuador’s World Cup games, scoring in the 2-1 defeat against Senegal as they failed to qualify for Group A.
Brighton signed Caicedo from Independiente del Valle for £5million in February 2021 when Graham Potter was in charge.
Hincapie is also on Chelsea’s radar
Chelsea are interested in Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapie.
The Ecuador international is seen as a potential alternative to RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol.
Hincapie, who is under contract until the summer of 2026, has played all of Ecuador’s group matches at the World Cup.
