He really impressed with his jump at Fontwell last time out and GERRY BLACK experience on fences can be very useful to him here.
Gary Moore’s charge remains on the upgrade and a five-pound raise for his immediate defeat of Statuario seems fair and although it’s more competitive he could get an undisputed lead and will be dangerous if he does.
HARTUR OF OUDAIRIES – 3.35 Exeter
He looked an exciting signing for the Dan Skelton team on his UK debut at Warwick last November and HARTUR D’OUDAIRIES is an interesting handicap beginner.
Completely unsuited by a falsely run race at Cheltenham next time, he was not quite right afterwards and was sidelined for the season. He returns to action from an opening mark of 117 and the expected high pace will be a big help. It promises to be a completely different proposition on Sunday.
HALF FREEDOM – 4.05 Exeter
He ran well in Worcester on his return, looking to cry for this leg of the journey, and HALF FREEDOM evaluates Sunday’s best bet.
Jonjo O’Neill’s charge was passed heading home behind Couldbeaweapon but held strong to finish second. Its general profile is part of the small progression and this new course can unlock a new improvement. If so, he’s a big player from a two-pound top mark.
