Indian Cricket Team Review – MS Dhoni Director of T20 Cricket ? After repeated failures in ICC events, the Indian cricket board is ready to knock on the doors of the person who has conquered world events at will. According to a report by The Telegraph, BCCI believe the burden of managing 3 formats is proving too demanding for HEAD COACH Rahul Dravid. This is the reason why BCCI is considering dividing the coaching roles. The board wants to involve Dhoni in FORMAT T20 and use his skills to raise the level of the Indian cricket team.
According to the report, the matter will be discussed at the APEX BOARD meeting later this month.

MS Dhoni Director of T20 Cricket ? Dhoni worked with the team during the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, but it was on an interim basis. The involvement for about a week could not bring the desired results as the team was knocked out in the first round. BCCI, however, believes that a bigger and bigger role would certainly help the establishment of India’s T20.
The report claims that Dhoni is expected to retire from playing after next year’s IPL. BCCI are keen to use their experience and technical acumen in the right way after that and will involve the former India captain.
The two-time World Cup winner could be asked to work with a specialized set of players and lead India’s T20 team.
When is the BCCI APEX board meeting? The DATE of the APEX Council meeting has not yet been finalized. But according to an official board meeting will be held in the last week of this month.
