Bath Rugby has appealed for information on the fate of its former player Levi Davis, who has since been missing Spain for more than a week.
Davis, who left Bath in August 2020, was last seen at the Old Irish Pub in Barcelona on October 29. the old England rugby player Tom Varndell urged anyone who has seen Davis since then to get in touch.
“If anyone has seen or heard of Levi Davis in the past two weeks, could you message me ASAP,” Varndell wrote on Twitter, alongside a photo of Davis.
The 24-year-old winger is also known for his television appearances, having been featured on ITV’s Celebrity X Factor in 2019. Davis played alongside fellow rugby stars Ben Foden and Thom Evans in a singing group called Try Star, and also appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating in 2020.
Davis is bisexual and came out in an interview with the Sunday Mail in September 2020. He revealed he suffered from anxiety and depression before coming out, but thanked his former Bath team-mates for their support after telling them in a WhatsApp group message.
Davis had spent the previous Covid-hit season on loan with Championship side Ealing Trailfinders, joining them permanently for the following campaign before moving to Worthing Raiders this season.
