John and Thady Gosden will be doubly represented in the Group One Royal Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday, as Grand Dame and Laurel are both runners.
Grand Dame is already a Listed winner, winning the Coral Distaff at Sandown in July before heading home as Group Three Atalanta Stakes runners-up at the same track the following month.
The Sun Chariot has been penciled in his diary since then, with this latest form of Sandown given a boost when Mrs Fitzherbert, third to Hughie Morrison, won a French group three.
The filly will be joined by teammate Laurel, an unbeaten daughter of Kingman who has taken two novices by convincing margins in her short career so far.
Owned and bred by Juddmonte, the bay was an additional entry for the race and tries to emulate her dam, Irish Pretty Polly winner Promising Lead, by winning a group one competition.

“With Grand Dame we have been planning this race for a long time,” John Gosden told Sky Sports Racing.
“The ground is good at the moment, we are expecting rain on Friday evening, so we will see what we have.
“Laurel is what you might call a very daring extra and that’s a huge leap forward, but she’s a filly who only raced late in her career and, all right, we also have the next year.
“We were thinking of dipping our toes in deeper water and hoping it wasn’t too hot!”
