Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboué once told the Queen that he would quit football to take care of his corgis.
He revealed how he opposed Thierry Henrywishes of during a meeting with Her Majesty – only to leave the Queen in dots.
Talk to The Telegraph in 2016 he said: “We went there and Thierry Henry said to me, ‘Please Emmanuel, this is Buckingham Palace, this is the Queen’s house, don’t do anything.’

“The Queen, honestly, she was laughing. Prince Philip laughed too. The whole team was laughing.”
