She crashed out at Wimbledon last week in her first Championship match.

But Serena Williams is still enjoying the sights of London as the tennis event continues as she heads for afternoon tea with her daughter Olympia Ohanian in the capital.

Sharing snaps with their Instagram followers on Saturday, the mother-daughter duo looked perfect as they posed for a sweet snap – captioned ‘Pinkies up’.

Olympia beamed for the camera in a floaty pink dress for the photo, holding a take-out box of tea.

As Serena sat next to her daughter, who she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian, in a striped maxi dress with a sleeveless design and a thigh-grazing slit.

She added a pair of chunky black sandals to her ensemble, while her dark locks were left loose for the outing.

Serena is making the most of her time in the UK alongside her family as the Wimbledon Championships wrap up this weekend.

And back on the pitch after a year’s hiatus, she didn’t quite get the comeback she was hoping for – collapsing in her first game.

After being beaten by 24-year-old Harmony Tan during the match, Serena was evasive about her future in tennis when asked, explaining: “That’s a question I can’t answer. “

“I’m just playing for the moment and I see how I feel, from there. Who knows where I’ll pop? There is certainly a lot of motivation to play better and at home (the US Open).

“Physically I did pretty well. The last two points I was really suffering. If you play week after week, there is a bit more resistance in the matches”.

Wimbledon will end on Sunday July 10 with the men’s singles final.
