Wimbledon history will be made today with Elena Rybakina and Ons Jabeur both going for their first Grand Slam title in the women’s singles final.
Third seed Jabeur will be the favorite given her position as world number two, as she would become the first woman from an Arab country and the African continent to win a Grand Slam singles title.
Neither Jabeur nor Rybakina had passed the quarter-finals of a major tournament before this summer.
