Tottenham may need to bring in a talented member of the squad if they are to convince Everton to part ways with Anthony Gordon this summer. Interest from Spurs has been reported in recent weeks, but with Newcastle United now also in action, a tempting swap deal could be needed to pipe in the Magpies. Express Sport takes a look at four players who could appeal to Frank Lampard…
Harry winks
Everton’s interest in Winks was reported by sky sports, among other things, as Lampard eyed the former England international to bolster his midfield ranks. Spurs were supposed to want to include Winks as part of their deal for Richarlison, but the Toffees strictly needed the money and decided to push for a maximum amount instead.
With their financial situation more stable after cashing in on Richarlison, the Toffees could soon be warming up to the prospect of facing Winks ahead of the new season. Antonio Conte has already signed two new midfielders in his first 12 months in the role, with Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur set to leave Winks starving for playing time in north London.

Lucas Moura
The arrival of Dejan Kulusevski in January has made life difficult for the Brazilian, and a deal for Anthony Gordon could only increase the competition for a few minutes. Spurs are said to be keen on keeping Moura to see out the final year of his contract, with rotation options needed in cup competitions and the Champions League.
But losing him to help grease the wheels of their coup for Gordon could be seen as a necessary evil by Conte, who needs homegrown players to play by team regulations. Moura has the pace and the trickery to delight fans at Goodison Park, but his goal threat has often left much to be desired, with just five to his name in the last two Premier League campaigns.
Bryan Gil
What better way for Everton to deal with the potential departure of an exciting young winger by immediately welcoming another exciting young winger. Bryan Gil arrived at Spurs with a great reputation having come through the ranks with Sevilla, but he has yet to have an extended opportunity in north London.
There has been talk of another loan spell in Spain this summer with Conte well stocked with options, but Everton could look to bring Gil into negotiations for Gordon if they like what they’ve seen so far. That would of course be a big gamble considering the 21-year-old has made just nine league appearances in his debut season in the English top flight.
